Baba Siddique, a prominent leader in Ajit Pawar’s faction of the NCP, was attacked near Nirmal Nagar in Bandra and succumbed to his injuries at Lilavati Hospital. The police have arrested two suspects, Gurmail Singh from Haryana and Dharamraj Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh, who had been monitoring Siddique for months. The search for a third suspect is ongoing.
