Baba Siddique Murder Case: Connection with Lawrence Bishnoi’s Brother Uncovered
In Mumbai, Maharashtra, the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique has taken a new turn as the Mumbai Crime Branch reveals that three suspected shooters were in contact with Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, via Snapchat. The shooters allegedly communicated with Anmol before carrying out the attack on Siddique outside his office in Nirmal Nagar, Mumbai. Siddique, a former MLA, was shot in the chest and later died from his injuries at Lilavati Hospital on October 12.
The Crime Branch has arrested 10 individuals in connection with the case, including two shooters and a weapon supplier. Investigations showed that the accused, including Pune-based Praveen Lonkar, believed to be the mastermind, were in direct contact with Anmol Bishnoi. They reportedly deleted messages after receiving them. Anmol was communicating with the accused from Canada and America, and four mobile phones have been seized.
Shooter Shivkumar Gautam and several other suspects remain at large. Additionally, on October 19, Mumbai Police suspended Shyam Sonawane, a police security guard who was with Siddique at the time of the incident.
