B Vanlalvawna Appointed as India’s New Ambassador to Cambodia

New Delhi [India], September 26: B Vanlalvawna has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Cambodia, according to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday.

About B Vanlalvawna

B Vanlalvawna is a 1998 batch Indian Foreign Service officer who is currently serving as the Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs. The MEA stated, “B. Vanlalvawna (IFS: 1998), presently Joint Secretary in the Ministry, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Cambodia.”

He is expected to take up his new assignment shortly.

Previous Ambassador

Prior to this appointment, Devyani Uttam Khobragade was serving as the Indian Ambassador to Cambodia.
