Shri Ram Lalla Temple’s Special Preparations
In Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, preparations are in full swing for a grand Diwali celebration at the newly constructed Shri Ram Lalla Temple. Special lamps have been chosen to protect the temple from stains and soot while providing bright, long-lasting illumination. A retired Inspector General of Police, Ashu Shukla, is overseeing the decoration efforts, ensuring every corner of the temple is beautifully adorned.
Decorations and Environmental Considerations
The temple area is divided into sections, each managed by specific teams for lighting, cleanliness, and decoration. Wax lamps, known for their reduced carbon emissions, will be used to minimize pollution. The temple will be open for viewing from October 29 to November 1, with access through Gate No. 4B.
Deepotsav Festival Highlights
This year’s Deepotsav festival aims to light over 2.5 million lamps, illuminating 55 ghats along the Sarayu River. A special feature includes the participation of 10,000 people and a new viewing gallery at Ram Ki Paidi. Ninety-five percent of the ghat decorations are complete, promising a spectacular display.
