In a historic achievement, Indian table tennis players Ayhika and Suthirtha Mukherjee became the first Indian duo to win a medal in the women’s doubles category at the Asian Table Tennis Championships. The event took place in Astana, Kazakhstan. In the semifinals, they triumphed over South Korea’s Kim Nayeong and Lee Eunhye with a 3-1 victory.
