Atishi Becomes New Delhi Chief Minister, Manoj Dhanovar Appointed AAP President for Assam
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has made significant changes in its leadership. On Friday, Manoj Dhanovar was appointed as the new president for Assam, while Bhaben Chaudhary, the former state president, has been named the National Joint Secretary.
In a major development in Delhi, Atishi has been officially appointed as the new Chief Minister of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. This change comes after Arvind Kejriwal, the party’s national convenor, was released from jail on bail in the excise policy case. President Droupadi Murmu accepted Kejriwal’s resignation but stated that he will continue to hold office until Atishi is sworn in.
Atishi, along with other ministers, will take the oath at Raj Niwas. The President has also approved the appointment of five new ministers: Saurabh Bharadwaj, Gopal Rai, Kailash Gahlot, Imran Hussain, and Mukesh Ahlawat.
