The Assam Police has permitted the movement of commercial vehicles during the daytime in the Kaziranga National Park area after the flood situation improved. Trucks can now travel from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM but are still restricted at night.

The floods in Assam have claimed 91 lives and affected 21 districts, including Cachar, Nalbari, Kamrup, Golaghat, and others. In Kaziranga National Park, 214 animals have died, and 155 have been rescued. Water levels have receded in some areas but remain above danger levels in others.
