Guwahati (Assam), September 23: Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya held a meeting with the district administration of Chirang at the IOCL conference hall in Dhaligaon. The meeting focused on evaluating the status of various Central and State Government schemes in the district.

Key Areas of Focus

District Commissioner Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy updated the Governor on the progress of development schemes. Governor Acharya emphasized the importance of:

  • Water conservation and plantation drives
  • Natural farming and a clean lifestyle
  • Regular yoga and exercise
  • Eliminating TB through TB Mukt Abhiyan
  • Reducing school dropout rates, especially for girls
