Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria Attends ‘Anwekhan’ Workshop Closing Ceremony in Dibrugarh
Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria attended the closing ceremony of the educational workshop, ‘Anwekhan’, organized by ‘GROWTH from GRASSROOTS’ and held at the Rajgarh Tea estate playground in Dibrugarh district. The governor praised Bimal Borah for encouraging students.
Governor’s Speech
Speaking at the event, Governor Kataria emphasized the importance of grassroots development. He urged everyone to do memorable work that benefits future generations. Addressing the students, he said, “Dream and work with full force to fulfill your goals. Understand your power and work for the greater cause, beneficial for humanity.”
Workshop Details
The workshop, held from July 12 to 23, 2024, across the Tingkhong Legislative Assembly constituency and Charaideo district, was organized by ‘GROWTH from GRASSROOTS’ under the patronage of state cabinet minister Bimal Borah and supported by the MLA’s Educational Advisory Committee. Around three thousand students from seven centers participated.

Rishikesh Goswami, Secretary of the Assam Children’s Literature Trust, attended as the keynote speaker. MLA Bimal Borah noted the enthusiasm and interest shown by the students in educational and skill development activities.
