New Delhi [India], September 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to Delhi after a three-day visit to the United States. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma congratulated PM Modi for his successful visit, highlighting India’s pragmatic foreign policy.

In a post on X, Sarma wrote, “Congratulations to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri narendramodi ji on completing the successful visit to the United States. This visit has once again exemplified India’s pragmatic foreign policy rooted in the nation first approach. The coming together of Quad partners is needed a force for global good, where India plays a pivotal role. The enthusiastic reception received by Adarniya Modi ji reinforces Bharat’s rising stature in the world order.”

During his visit, PM Modi attended the Quad Leaders Summit in US President Joe Biden’s hometown, Delaware. He delivered remarks at the United Nations ‘Summit of The Future’ and held bilateral meetings with several leaders.

Earlier, PM Modi shared highlights of his visit, saying it has been “fruitful,” covering diverse programs and focusing on making the planet better. He shared a video of his engagements, including the Quad Summit, bilateral meetings, and his address to the Indian diaspora.

“This has been a fruitful USA visit, covering diverse programmes and focusing on a series of subjects aimed at making our planet better. Here are the highlights,” PM Modi said in a post on X.

The Quad Summit saw participation from Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and US President Joe Biden. PM Modi expressed his happiness at participating in the Quad meeting at the beginning of his third term in office. India will host the next Quad Summit.
