Asha Malviya Meets Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah During Her Solo Cycling Journey

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah met Asha Malviya, a young woman from Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday. Asha is a national athlete and mountaineer who is on a solo cycling journey across 28 states, covering 25,000 kilometers, to raise awareness about women’s safety and empowerment.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah praised Asha’s mission and wished her all the best for her journey. He shared his thoughts on social media, saying, “It’s a pleasure to meet Ms. Aasha Malviya from Nataram, Madhya Pradesh. Her courageous mission aims to raise awareness about the importance of women’s safety and empowerment in India. I extend my best wishes to her.”

Chief Minister’s Political Secretary Govindaraju and Minister Byrathi Suresh were also present during the meeting and congratulated Asha on her achievements.

Asha Malviya started her journey from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, on November 1, 2022. She has previously met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who have also praised her efforts in promoting women’s safety and empowerment.
