Arvind Kejriwal Visits Vaishno Devi After Release from Jail

Arvind Kejriwal Plans Visit to Vaishno Devi

Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), announced that he and his family will visit the Vaishno Devi shrine. He shared on social media, “Chalo bulawa aaya hai, Mata ne bulaya hai,” expressing his intent to seek blessings from the goddess.

Kejriwal’s Recent Developments

Earlier this year, Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the Delhi excise policy case. He was released from Tihar Jail last month after the Supreme Court granted him bail. Following his release, Kejriwal resigned from his position as Chief Minister, stating he would not return until the public reaffirms their trust in him by voting AAP back into power in the upcoming assembly elections. Atishi has taken over as the new Chief Minister.

Preparations for Upcoming Elections

Kejriwal and AAP are preparing for the assembly elections next year. At a recent meeting in Delhi’s Pitampura, Kejriwal addressed party workers, highlighting the challenges AAP has faced and urging them to strive for victory in all 70 assembly seats. He emphasized the importance of the elections for Delhi’s future, warning that the BJP aims to undo AAP’s progress.

Support for Satyendar Jain

The meeting also celebrated Satyendar Jain, a senior AAP leader, who was recently released on bail after being jailed for alleged money laundering. Party members welcomed him warmly, with senior leaders honoring him on stage.
