BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj called Kejriwal’s resignation a ‘moral compulsion’ staged due to his ineligibility to perform CM duties as per the Supreme Court. She accused the AAP government of neglecting Delhi’s development and focusing on publicity and corruption.

AAP leader Atishi explained that Kejriwal sought two days’ time to step down because of the holidays, with the next working day being Tuesday.
