He will be moving to a bungalow at 5 Ferozshah Road, currently allotted to AAP Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal. Mittal offered his residence to Kejriwal, expressing happiness that the AAP National Convenor would stay with him. Mittal stated, “I am delighted to know that he has chosen my home and decided to stay with me until he gets a house.”

Following his resignation on September 17, Kejriwal is searching for a new, dispute-free property in New Delhi, where he serves as an MLA. Many party members and supporters have offered their homes to him. Kejriwal has expressed his intention to return as CM if he receives a renewed mandate and a “certificate of honesty” from the people in the upcoming assembly polls, expected in February 2025. Atishi has taken over as the new Chief Minister of Delhi as of September 22.
