New Delhi, September 26: Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has criticized the ruling BJP at the Centre over his arrest by the Directorate of Enforcement in an ongoing investigation into an excise policy case. Speaking to reporters, Kejriwal questioned the motives behind his arrest, suggesting it was intended to derail the Delhi government and increase hardships for the public.

Alongside Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and AAP leader Manish Sisodia, Kejriwal inspected the condition of roads near Delhi University. He assured the public that all problems in the national capital would be addressed and fixed soon. Kejriwal highlighted the damage to a road caused by pipeline work and promised it would be repaired.

Kejriwal accused the BJP of trying to defame AAP and shut down the Delhi government. AAP leader Dilip Pandey echoed these sentiments, stating that the BJP’s attempts to stop the work in Delhi by arresting AAP leaders had failed. He assured that the public works would continue with renewed conviction.
