Art Exhibition ‘Ramayan Resonance’ Begins in Kathmandu, Nepal

The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), has launched an art exhibition titled ‘Ramayan Resonance: Celebrating a Shared Heritage.’ The event started on Monday and will run until September 30.

Inauguration Ceremony

The exhibition was inaugurated by Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, and Nepal’s Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey. The event also saw the presence of NAFA Chancellor Narad Mani Hartamchhali and Deputy Director General of ICCR, Anju Ranjan, along with renowned Nepali artists and art lovers.

Exhibition Details

The exhibition features curations by Gargi Seth and is being held at the gallery of the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts. It aims to celebrate the shared cultural heritage between India and Nepal through the lens of the Ramayan.

The exhibition will be open to the public from September 23 to September 30.

NAFA Chancellor -: The NAFA Chancellor is the head of the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts. Narad Mani Hartamchhali is the current Chancellor.

ICCR -: ICCR stands for the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, an organization that promotes Indian culture around the world. Anju Ranjan is a representative of ICCR.
