Arrest Made After Violent Incident at Brampton Hindu Temple
On November 3, 2024, a violent altercation occurred at a Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada. Peel Region Police have arrested another person involved in the incident. The police, including the 21 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau and Strategic Investigation Team, are investigating the events that took place during a demonstration at the Mandir on The Gore Road.
The demonstration turned physical, with individuals using flags and sticks to assault others. One suspect, 35-year-old Inderjeet Gosal from Brampton, was arrested on November 8 and charged with Assault with a Weapon. He has been released on conditions and will appear in court later.
