Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi Reviews Security in Northeast India
Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited the Northeast for the first time since taking office. He reviewed the security situation along the China border in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.
During his two-day visit, he was briefed on the situation in Manipur and the Line of Actual Control with China. He also inspected infrastructure projects in Sikkim.
General Dwivedi was accompanied by Eastern Army Commander Lt Gen. RC Tewari.
