Arjun Singh Raju and Rakesh Singh Thakur Compete in Ramban Election

Arjun Singh Raju, the candidate from the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) and INDIA alliance for the Ramban constituency, wrapped up his campaign on the last day before the election. He visited every Panchayat in the constituency during the 16 to 17-day campaign.

Raju expressed confidence in winning the election, which will be held on September 18. He highlighted his party’s commitment to restoring Article 370 in Kashmir and thanked the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for their support, noting that the PDP did not field a candidate in Ramban.

Raju will face BJP’s Rakesh Singh Thakur and other independent candidates. Thakur thanked the BJP leadership and party workers for their support and expressed hope for a favorable outcome.

The election in Ramban is part of the first phase of Jammu and Kashmir’s three-phase polls, with voting in Ramban scheduled for September 18.
