Arjun Munda Confident of NDA Victory in Jharkhand Elections
In Saraikela Kharsawan, Jharkhand, former Union Minister and ex-Chief Minister Arjun Munda expressed his belief that the NDA will form the next government in Jharkhand. He cited public dissatisfaction with the current government, which he claims has failed to fulfill the state’s dreams due to its alliance with Congress. Munda criticized the current government for turning Jharkhand into a ‘place of loot’ and accused the INDIA alliance of prioritizing power over principles.
Former Chief Minister Champai Soren, a BJP candidate from Saraikella, echoed Munda’s sentiments, stating that the Congress alliance has no presence in Jharkhand and that a BJP wave is sweeping the country. Meanwhile, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) released its fifth list of candidates for the upcoming elections, with Lois Marandi contesting from Jama, a seat reserved for the scheduled caste.
The Jharkhand Assembly elections are scheduled in two phases on November 13 and 20, with vote counting on November 23.
