Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], September 29: BJP MP Anurag Thakur criticized former Jammu-Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for cancelling her campaign after the killing of Hezbollah commander Hassan Nasrallah. Thakur accused parties like the National Conference, People’s Democratic Party, and Congress of supporting terrorism instead of democracy.

Thakur stated, “These are the parties that supported separatists, terrorists, and those involved in stone-pelting incidents. They are aware of what is happening in Gaza but are unable to see what’s happening with the Hindus in Dhaka.”

Mehbooba Mufti cancelled her campaign in solidarity with the martyrs of Lebanon and Gaza, especially Hassan Nasrallah. Uttar Pradesh Minister OP Rajbhar also criticized Mufti’s decision, calling Hezbollah a terror organization that should be wiped out.

Former J-K Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta questioned Mufti’s silence on the attacks and killings of Hindus in Bangladesh, suggesting that her actions were insincere.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut, Lebanon. The Israel Defence Forces confirmed his death, stating, “Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be able to terrorize the world.”
