Anurag Thakur Criticizes Congress and National Conference Over Article 370 Support

Bharatiya Janata Party leader Anurag Thakur has criticized Congress and the National Conference for their stance on Article 370. Thakur’s comments came after Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khwaja Asif expressed support for the same stance.

Thakur’s Accusations

Thakur accused Congress of aligning with anti-national powers and questioned Rahul Gandhi’s motives. He said, “This clears that Congress, Pakistan, and NC have the same intentions, agenda, and mindset. Pakistan’s Defence Minister supporting the Congress-NC alliance’s stand on Article 370 has exposed Congress’ face in front of the people.”

Pakistan’s Defence Minister’s Statement

In an interview with senior journalist Hamid Mir on Geo News, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khwaja Asif stated that Pakistan and the NC-Congress alliance share the same goal of restoring Article 370 and 35A in Jammu and Kashmir. Asif claimed that Article 370 could return if the NC-Congress alliance comes to power in Jammu and Kashmir.
