Three-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray has confirmed that the 2024 Paris Olympic Games will be the last tennis tournament of his career. The 37-year-old, who has won two Olympic gold medals, will compete in both singles and doubles events in Paris.

Murray shared his excitement on X, stating, “Arrived in Paris for my last ever tennis tournament. Competing for Team GB has been by far the most memorable weeks of my career and I’m extremely proud to get to do it one final time!”

Throughout his career, Murray has won 46 singles titles. He recently missed Wimbledon due to surgery for a spinal cyst and participated in the doubles event with his brother, Jamie Murray. Despite their efforts, they were eliminated in the first round. Murray also faced challenges with injuries, including his ankle, back, and hip, which led him to decide to retire.

Murray’s career highlights include winning his first Olympic gold medal in 2012 by defeating Roger Federer and his second in 2016 by beating Juan Martin del Potro. He also won three Grand Slam titles: two at Wimbledon (2013 and 2016) and one at the US Open (2012).
