Andre Russell Injured, Misses Rest of T20 Series Against England

Star West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell has been ruled out of the remaining three T20 matches in the five-game series against England. Russell injured his ankle during the first match in Barbados and missed the second game, which West Indies lost by seven wickets, putting them 2-0 behind in the series.

To fill Russell’s spot, all-rounder Shamar Springer has been added to the team. Additionally, fast bowler Alzarri Joseph returns to the squad after serving a two-game suspension due to an on-field incident in the third ODI against England. His return means Shamar Joseph will step aside.

The remaining matches of the T20 series will take place in St Lucia, with the next game scheduled for Thursday.
