Anant Mukesh Ambani, Director of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), and Murray Auchincloss, CEO of bp, have inaugurated Jio-bp’s 500th electric vehicle (EV) charging station. This station is located at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, Jio World Plaza, and Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).
Rapid Expansion
Jio-bp has expanded its EV charging network from 1,300 to 5,000 stations in just one year. The company boasts the highest proportion of fast-charging stations in the industry, with 95% of its network offering high-speed charging and an impressive 96% uptime.
Innovative Charging Solutions
Jio-bp is the first in the industry to introduce 480 KW chargers, providing efficient and rapid charging at various locations such as malls, public parking areas, corporate parks, hotels, and roadside facilities. The company aims to reduce range anxiety and charging times with its advanced Jio-bp pulse charging app.
