Anand Kumar Urges Government to Help Students in Coaching Institutes
New Delhi, India – Anand Kumar, the founder of the Super 30 educational program, has urged the central and state governments to create a special cell to address the issues faced by students in coaching institutes. In an interview, Kumar said, “We want the central government and state government to form a special cell for students near coaching institutes, so that they can report issues or queries related to any problem, whether it is about their residence or studies, so that they don’t face any trouble.”
This call comes amid growing concerns about student safety in coaching institutes. Kumar pointed out that coaching centers often misuse the names of successful students to attract new aspirants. He stated, “It is an old business of coaching centres to publish the photos of successful students on their name. They lure them with dreams to bring them to their coaching centres. Everybody knows this fact but there are some incidents in which they lured students on the name of some teachers (famous teachers) who don’t teach. If in case they are teaching then students are unable to recall anything and there is no progress in them.”
Kumar emphasized that once students pay their fees, teachers often neglect their responsibilities. “Now, the students have paid their fees and teachers think they are freed with the responsibility and answerability. This is wrong,” he said.
He also advised students on how to choose a teacher or coaching institute. Kumar stressed that self-study is the best practice and that success is achievable through consistent self-study. He urged students to be cautious and not to choose coaching institutes based solely on their reputation or results. “It’s always the content that matters, the strong content. Check whether teacher’s capability and art to teach is better or not. It’s important to choose the teacher with whom you can connect easily. Such teachers are present in small towns too, so it’s better to choose them. Find the teacher with the best content. I would say self-study is the best tool. Once you get into the habit of self-study, then nobody can stop you from getting success,” he added.
