Anand Dubey Predicts MVA’s Victory in Maharashtra Elections

Mumbai, Maharashtra: Anand Dubey, spokesperson for Shiv Sena (UBT), expressed confidence that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) will secure between 170 to 180 seats in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections, ensuring their ability to form the government. He mentioned that decisions on the remaining 19 to 20 seats will be finalized by tonight, as tomorrow marks the last day for filing nominations.

Dubey highlighted the challenges of contesting elections within an alliance, noting that the original seat-sharing formula of 85 seats each for NCP SP, Congress, and Shiv Sena-UBT was increased to 90 seats each. He stated that Congress has announced candidates for 99 seats, Shiv Sena (UBT) for 85, and NCP SP for 83, with the remaining seats to be decided soon.

Dubey also criticized the BJP-led Mahayuti for their ongoing disputes over seat-sharing, contrasting it with the MVA’s more harmonious approach. The Maharashtra Assembly elections are set for November 20, with results to be announced on November 23.
