Anand Dubey Confident in Maha Vikas Aghadi’s Victory in Maharashtra Elections
In Mumbai, Maharashtra, Anand Dubey, spokesperson for the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction), expressed confidence in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance’s success in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. Dubey stated that seat sharing has been finalized for over 270 seats, and Shiv Sena (UBT) aims to contest at least 100 seats. He emphasized that Uddhav Thackeray’s leadership is well-liked, and contesting more seats would benefit the MVA.
Dubey mentioned that the MVA is taking additional time to prepare thoroughly for the elections, ensuring everything is in order. Earlier, Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar confirmed that the seat-sharing formula would be finalized soon, with five seats left for high-command decisions.
As the election date of November 20 approaches, both the ruling Mahayuti alliance, including the BJP and Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction), and the opposition MVA are ramping up their preparations. The election results for all 288 constituencies will be announced on November 23.
