Amit Shah Unveils BJP’s Manifesto for Jharkhand Elections

In Ranchi, Jharkhand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah released the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Sankalp Patra, or manifesto, for the upcoming state assembly elections. Shah emphasized that this election is crucial for Jharkhand’s future, not just a change in government. He urged voters to choose between a corrupt government and a BJP-led government focused on development under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

Shah highlighted the BJP’s commitment to fulfilling promises, stating that the party stands out for its track record of delivering on its resolutions. He noted that the backward classes, poor, tribals, and Dalits are looking to the BJP’s manifesto with hope.

Criticizing the current government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Shah claimed that the safety of tribals is at risk due to infiltration. He accused the JMM-led alliance of allowing infiltrators to occupy tribal lands and endanger local culture and safety. Shah assured that a BJP government would secure “Roti, Beti, Maati” (food, daughters, land) and drive out infiltrators.

The manifesto launch was attended by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Sanjay Seth, and BJP Jharkhand president Babulal Marandi. The elections for Jharkhand’s 81 assembly seats will occur in two phases on November 13 and 20, with vote counting on November 23.
