Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to meet with 188 Indian Police Service (IPS) probationers in New Delhi. This interaction, scheduled for Tuesday, aims to prepare the officers for challenges related to the country’s internal security. The probationers are part of the 76 RR (2023 Batch) and have completed their Basic Course Training Phase-1, which includes 54 women officers.

During the meeting, the officers will share their training experiences with the Home Minister. Amit Shah will provide guidance to help them contribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047. The officers have undergone two weeks of training with various Central Armed Police Forces and Central Police Organisations in Delhi. They will now proceed to 29 weeks of district practical training in their respective cadres.
