Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited the Shri Kashtabhanjan Dev Hanumanji Temple in Salangpur, Gujarat. He offered prayers and inaugurated the Yatri Bhawan, a large facility with 1,100 rooms, built at a cost of Rs 200 crore.

Diwali Greetings and Green Facility

During his visit, Amit Shah extended Diwali greetings and highlighted that the Yatri Bhawan is a green facility, providing accommodation for visitors nationwide. The building spans over 9 lakh square feet and was completed in two years.

Tribute to Gopalanand Ji Maharaj

Shah attributed the temple’s founding to Gopalanand Ji Maharaj, who established the idol of Lord Hanuman. He praised Gopalanand Swamiji for his dedication and service to Swaminarayan Bhagwan.

Significance of Lord Hanuman

Shah reflected on Lord Hanuman’s qualities, citing Tulsidas Ji’s description of Hanuman as an ocean of knowledge. He explained the symbolism of various Hanuman idols, each representing different virtues and powers.

Honoring Sardar Patel

Shah also acknowledged the 149th birth anniversary of Sardar Patel, commending his vision for a unified India. He noted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to celebrate Patel’s 150th birth anniversary over two years to inspire the youth.
