Amit Shah Criticizes Congress and National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir
Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], September 7: Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah launched a strong attack on the Congress and National Conference’s manifesto. He accused them of wanting to bring back the old system and start talks with Pakistan, but stated, ‘Till there is no peace, there will be no talks with Pakistan.’
Shah criticized the Congress and National Conference for wanting to spread terrorism, take away reservations from Gujjars, Bakarwal, Paharis, and Dalits, release criminals, and start trade with Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that the BJP will not allow these changes and will protect the rights of these communities.
Shah also accused three families – Gandhi, Abdullah, and Mufti – of looting money from Jammu and Kashmir and wanting to restore the old system, which he said would bring inequality. He urged Rahul Gandhi to stop misleading people and stated that only the Central government and PM Modi can restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
Shah praised the Modi government for reducing terrorism by 70% and ensuring the safe conduct of the Amarnath Yatra. He urged BJP booth workers to campaign door-to-door and ensure a strong victory in the upcoming elections.
The BJP has released its manifesto for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, making 25 promises focused on women, youth, Kashmiri Pandits, restoring temples, and eliminating terrorism. The elections will be held in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1, with 90 assembly constituencies in total.
