Union Minister Amit Shah criticized the Congress party following a significant drug seizure in Delhi, valued at 5,600 crore. He claimed that the main accused, Tushar Goyal, is the head of the Delhi Congress’s RTI cell. Shah highlighted the Modi government’s efforts in seizing drugs worth 27,600 crores over the past decade, contrasting it with the Congress’s record.

In a post on his official ‘X’ handle, Amit Shah emphasized the Modi government’s commitment to a zero-tolerance policy on drugs, aiming to guide youth towards education, sports, and innovation. He accused Congress of using political influence to enable drug trafficking, citing the negative impact on youth in regions like Punjab and Haryana during Congress’s rule.

Determination to Combat Drug Trafficking

Amit Shah asserted that the Modi government is determined to make India a ‘drug-free country’ by dismantling the drug network, regardless of the political status of those involved. He condemned Congress leaders for allegedly pushing youth into drug-related issues.
