Amit Shah Criticizes Congress-NC Alliance Over Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir
Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized the Congress-NC alliance, stating that ‘three generations’ of their family won’t be able to restore Article 370. Speaking in Chenani, Jammu and Kashmir, he accused the Gandhis, Muftis, and Abdullahs of corruption and perpetuating terrorism.
Shah highlighted BJP’s efforts to empower marginalized communities and secure borders. He said, “Since 2014, we have been working tirelessly to empower SCs, STs, Dalits, poor, and women. We secured our borders and ensured reservation for our Pahadi brothers and sisters. Congress never cared for you, Abdullahs never cared for you. And you should remember this.”
The second phase of J-K assembly polls saw a 57.03% turnout, with Budgam recording 62.98%, Ganderbal 62.51%, Poonch 73.80%, Rajouri 70.95%, Reasi 74.70%, and Srinagar 29.81%. The final phase is scheduled for October 1, and results will be declared on October 8.
