Amit Shah Celebrates 75 Years of Hindi as Official Language on Hindi Diwas
New Delhi [India], September 14: Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended his heartfelt wishes to people on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. Celebrating 75 years of Hindi as the official language of India, Amit Shah emphasized the importance of all Indian languages.
He wrote on social media that all Indian languages are our pride and heritage, and without enriching them, we cannot move forward. He highlighted the unbreakable relationship between Hindi and other Indian languages.
This year marks 75 years of Hindi as the official language, contributing to public communication and national unity. Amit Shah expressed confidence that Hindi, along with other Indian languages, will continue to contribute towards a developed India.
The Union Minister will inaugurate the ‘Bhartiya Bhasha Anubhag’ to promote the use of Indian languages along with Hindi and establish better coordination between them. This inauguration is part of the official language Diamond Jubilee celebrations and the 4th Akhil Bharatiya Rajbhasha Sammelan, organized by the Department of Official Language on September 14-15 in New Delhi.
Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and guided by Amit Shah, the Department of Official Language has been organizing the Akhil Bharatiya Rajbhasha Sammelan annually since 2021. Hindi Diwas is observed every year on September 14 to commemorate the decision to adopt Hindi as one of the nation’s official languages.
