Amit Shah and Bhupendra Patel Inaugurate 30 Smart Schools in Ahmedabad

Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Ahmedabad in Gujarat for the e-inauguration of 30 smart schools developed by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) in Naranpura. Shah announced that the work of converting all schools into smart schools is almost complete, with only 10 schools remaining.

Shah stated, “The work of converting all the schools into smart schools is now almost complete. For the 10 schools that are remaining, I assure you that they will also become smart schools.”

He also mentioned that 449 municipal schools and 1,70,000 students are receiving primary education in Gujarati, Hindi, English, and Urdu mediums.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also participated in the inauguration. He posted on his official X handle about the event, calling it a day of education revolution for many poor and middle-class families in the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha Constituency.

Patel said, “These schools have facilities like future classrooms equipped with laptops, modern science-maths labs, 3D wallpapers, and 3D paintings, through which children will benefit from high-quality education and skill development through modern technology.”

He further noted that there are 69 government schools in the Gandhinagar constituency, out of which 59 have been made smart schools, with the remaining schools also being upgraded.

Patel added, “Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency has seen unprecedented development during his tenure. The people of this area have great affection for him and that is why the citizens elected him with a huge majority.”

In another post, Patel expressed joy in seeing children from normal economic backgrounds studying in smart government schools using modern technology.
