Amar Kumar Bauri Criticizes Jharkhand Government Ahead of Assembly Polls

As the Jharkhand Assembly elections approach, Amar Kumar Bauri, the Leader of Opposition, has criticized the current JMM government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Bauri accused Soren of neglecting his promises to provide employment and financial aid to students, highlighting irregularities in recruitment exams.

Bauri stated, “Hemant Soren has forgotten the employment and financial aid promises he made to the voters. On the other hand, we see that irregularities were observed in recruitment exams. We have promised people that when we come to power, we will cancel the CGL exam and order a CBI enquiry into it.”

He also pointed out the demographic changes in Santhal Pargana due to illegal immigration from Bangladesh, which he claims endangers the local tribes’ resources.

Bauri criticized Soren for not fulfilling his 2019 election promises, which included creating 5 lakh government jobs and providing financial support to the poor. Bauri assured that the BJP, if elected, would create 1.5 lakh jobs by November 15, 2025, and offer various financial benefits to women and families.

The BJP has announced 66 candidates for the upcoming elections, while the Congress party has released a list of 21 candidates. The elections will take place in two phases on November 13 and 20, with results announced on November 23.
