Akhilesh Yadav’s 51st Birthday: Samajwadi Party Plants Trees and Distributes Sweets

In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party celebrated the 51st birthday of their leader, Akhilesh Yadav, in a special way. They planted saplings called ‘PDA’ (Pichhadha, Dalit, Alpsankhyak) and gave sweets to poor people. The ‘PDA’ stands for a group that the party supports.

Planting Trees and Spreading Joy

Rajendra Chaudhary, the SP National Secretary, said they are planting trees in every village to support Akhilesh Yadav’s ‘PDA’ idea. He said, ‘We will end all kinds of pollution from UP. In every village, a tree is being planted. The PDA formula of the SP chief Akhilesh Yadav will get further strength. We are planting saplings, distributing food for the long life of the chief.’

Party leaders danced and celebrated outside the Samajwadi Party office in Lucknow. They also gave out cakes and sweets. They distributed 51 kg of sweets, 51 kg of fruits, and sarees to 101 poor women.

Encouraging People to Plant Trees

A party worker said they want to encourage people to plant trees and show that Akhilesh Yadav cares about people and the environment. ‘On the occasion of the birthday of the party chief, we have organized Pichhadha, Dalit, Alpsankhyak (backward, Dalit, and minority) ‘PDA sapling’ plantation program for a week and encourage people to plant trees. We have tried to spread the message that our party chief has affection towards people as well as the environment. On one hand, we are distributing food to the poor and on the other hand, we are planting PDA saplings,’ he said.

Celebrations and Wishes

Many posters and hoardings with birthday messages for Akhilesh Yadav were put up outside the party office. Party workers shouted slogans in support of Akhilesh Yadav and wished him a long life. Another party MP, Aditya Yadav, said they organized a poetic symposium to celebrate the birthday. ‘We arranged a poetic symposium. We would like to extend our greetings on his birthday. We hope that in the coming time, he achieves more progress and plays an important role in giving strength to the country and constitution,’ he said.

SP MLA from Chitrakoot, Anil Pradhan, brought a giant statue of former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh. ‘On the occasion of the birthday of the SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, we would like to extend our wishes to him. The party which was founded by his father Mulayam Singh has today become the third biggest party in the country after Lok Sabha polls. We will present his statue to Akhilesh,’ he said.

Recent Election Success

The Samajwadi Party did well in the recent Lok Sabha elections, winning 37 out of 80 seats. Akhilesh Yadav won the Kannauj seat, defeating BJP candidate Subrat Pathak by over 1,70,922 votes. The SP won 37 seats, BJP won 33, Congress won 6, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) won 2, and Aazad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) and Apna Dal (Soneylal) won 1 seat each in Uttar Pradesh.
