Akhilesh Yadav, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Mamata Banerjee Attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Grand Wedding in Mumbai
On Friday, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav arrived in Mumbai to attend the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, along with his son Tejashwi Yadav and family, also traveled from Patna to Mumbai for the event. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is expected to attend the wedding and meet with other political leaders in Mumbai.
The wedding is being held at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai and has attracted many high-profile guests. Former UK Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Boris Johnson, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, and American boxing icon Mike Tyson have all been spotted in Mumbai for the celebration.
The wedding of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant is a grand celebration of Indian culture, featuring traditional decor themed ‘An Ode to Varanasi.’ The main ceremonies began on Friday with the Shubh Vivah and will continue with Shubh Aashirwad on Saturday and Mangal Utsav on Sunday.
Earlier, the Ambani family hosted a grand Mameru ceremony on July 3 and a star-studded Sangeet Ceremony on July 5, which included a performance by global pop sensation Justin Bieber. The couple also held pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar earlier this year, attended by celebrities from around the world.
