In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party, led by Akhilesh Yadav, announced that candidates from the INDIA bloc will contest the upcoming bypolls using the party’s ‘cycle’ symbol. Akhilesh Yadav emphasized the importance of saving the Constitution, Reservation, and Harmony, aiming to build a nation envisioned by leaders like Bapu, Babasaheb, and Lohia.

Yadav stated that the focus is not on the number of seats but on achieving victory. The INDIA bloc, including the Congress and Samajwadi Party, is united to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and address issues like misgovernance and riots. Congress leader Surendra Rajput confirmed that the alliance’s main goal is to end BJP’s rule and ensure security and peace.

Akhilesh Yadav urged voters to remain united and avoid splitting votes, highlighting the strengthened alliance with Congress. The bypolls will be held for nine assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, with polling on November 13 and vote counting on November 23.
