Ajay Kumar Bhalla Takes on Additional Role as Secretary of Personnel and Training

New Delhi [India], June 30: Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla has been given additional charge as Secretary of the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India. This follows a notification from the Secretariat of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Department of Personnel and Training on June 29.

Bhalla will assume this role following the retirement of Ms. S. Radha Chauhan on June 30, 2024. He will continue in this position until a regular replacement is appointed or further orders are issued.
