Joint Electromagnetic Board Meeting Focuses on Electronic Warfare
The annual meeting of the Joint Electromagnetic Board (JEMB), a subcommittee of the Chiefs of Staff Committee, was held in New Delhi with the goal of enhancing joint electronic warfare operations among the three Services. The meeting was chaired by Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Operations).

Launch of AI-enabled e-Tarang System
The meeting featured the launch of the AI-enabled e-Tarang System, developed with Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG-N). This system will enhance the planning and management of Defence Spectrum, supporting new technologies in higher frequency bands.
Release of Technical News Letter 2024
The Technical News Letter (TNL) 2024 was released, highlighting future technologies that could transform modern warfare. Contributions from all three Services were significant in its development.

The gathering aimed to identify future technology development and training priorities. Air Marshal Mishra emphasized the importance of integrating EW assets across Services and praised the first joint EW exercise conducted in September 2024, promoting “Victory through Jointness”.
