Air India and Singapore Airlines Expand Codeshare Agreement

Air India and Singapore Airlines (SIA) have announced a major expansion of their codeshare agreement, adding 11 Indian cities and 40 international destinations to their network. This marks the first significant expansion since 2010, enhancing travel options between Singapore and India.

New Codeshare Destinations

Starting October 27, the airlines will codeshare on flights between Singapore and the Indian cities of Bengaluru and Chennai, increasing weekly codeshare services to 56. SIA will also codeshare on Air India’s domestic flights connecting various Indian cities.

International Access for Air India Customers

Air India customers will gain access to 29 destinations across SIA’s network, including cities in Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

International Access for SIA Customers

SIA customers can connect to Air India’s international services from Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai to 12 destinations in Europe, West Asia, and Africa, including cities in Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Kenya, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, and the United Kingdom.
