Pathan highlighted that Siddique had previously informed authorities about receiving death threats. He questioned why security was not provided or effective during the attack.

Pathan expressed his condolences to Siddique’s family and called for a thorough investigation. He criticized the state government for failing to maintain law and order, especially in a major city like Mumbai. Pathan also mentioned the alleged involvement of the Bishnoi gang, questioning the government’s actions if such attacks are being orchestrated from jail.

AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi also criticized the state government, stating that the attack on Siddique shows a lack of concern for public safety in Mumbai and Maharashtra. Siddique was shot outside his office in Nirmal Nagar and succumbed to his injuries at Lilavati Hospital. His funeral was held with full state honors at Bada Qabrastan.
