Baba Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader, was shot and brought to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Saturday night. Despite efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. Dr. Jalil Parkar from the hospital reported that Siddique arrived with no pulse or blood pressure.
Arrests Made
Mumbai police have arrested Pravin Lonkar, a 28-year-old involved in the murder plot. Lonkar is the brother of Shubham Lonkar, another conspirator. The police also presented Gurmail Singh and Dharmraj Singh Kashyap in court, with Singh being held in custody until October 21.
