He also criticized Chief Minister MK Stalin, calling him incompetent and suggesting that the focus was on VIP comfort rather than public safety.
Health Minister’s Response
Health Minister Ma Subramanian confirmed the deaths were due to excessive heat and stated that the government had taken precautionary measures. He emphasized that the deaths were not due to hospital treatment failures and noted that only seven patients remained hospitalized.
