Ahmedabad SG Pipers Face Dabang Delhi TTC in UTT 2024 Semi-Final Showdown
Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], September 6: Debutants Ahmedabad SG Pipers are set to make their mark by reaching their first Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) title clash. They will face 2018 champions Dabang Delhi TTC in the second semi-final of UTT 2024 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium on Friday.
The winner of this match will compete against defending champions Athlead Goa Challengers in Saturday’s final. On Thursday, Athlead Goa Challengers, led by Harmeet Desai, secured their spot in the final by defeating the Manika Batra-led PBG Bengaluru Smashers 8-4 in the first semi-final.
Ahmedabad SG Pipers, playing their maiden season, finished second in the league stage with 42 points, while Dabang Delhi TTC finished third with 41 points. Ahmedabad SG Pipers recently defeated fellow debutants Jaipur Patriots 12-3 in their final league match, showcasing their strength.
