Kingstown [St Vincent], June 25: Afghanistan made history by advancing to the T20 World Cup semifinals for the first time, defeating Bangladesh by eight runs in the final Super 8 match on Tuesday. This victory fulfilled the prediction made by West Indian cricket legend Brian Lara over a month ago.
