ADNOC Drilling Wins $733 Million Contract for Advanced Island Rigs at Zakum Field

ADNOC Drilling Company has secured a $733 million contract from ADNOC Offshore to develop three advanced island drilling rigs for the Zakum field. CEO Abdulrahman Abdulla Al Seiari highlighted the use of AI and advanced technology in these rigs. ADNOC Offshore CEO Tayba Abdul Rahim Al Hashemi emphasized the importance of this partnership in meeting global energy demands. The rigs, built by Honghua Group, will be operational by 2026, enhancing efficiency and safety while reducing costs and emissions.
