Adani Energy Solutions Limited, part of the Adani Group, announced a remarkable 172.2% increase in net profit for the July-September quarter, reaching Rs 773 crore, compared to Rs 284 crore in the same period last year. For the first half of the fiscal year, profits rose by 133.4% to Rs 1,088 crore.

The company’s total income for the quarter increased by 68.9% year-on-year to Rs 6,360 crore, driven by new transmission assets, partial project completions, and increased energy sales in Mumbai and Mundra. The company’s EBITDA also grew by 31% to Rs 1,891 crore.

Operational Highlights

Adani Energy Solutions, a major player in India’s transmission and distribution sector, highlighted its focus on timely project completion and operational efficiency. CEO Kandarp Patel emphasized the company’s commitment to renewable energy, noting a 39% renewable power penetration in Mumbai.

During the quarter, the company secured three new transmission projects worth Rs 10,300 crore, adding 2,059 circuit kilometers to its network. The total transmission network now spans 23,269 circuit kilometers.

Future Prospects

Adani Energy Solutions is expanding its smart metering business, aiming to become India’s leading smart metering integrator with an order book of over 22.8 million meters. The company serves over 12 million consumers in Mumbai and Mundra SEZ.
